Location

Palais Eschenbach

Palais Eschenbach in the heart of Vienna, between Karlsplatz and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, a few steps from the Opera House and not far from Parliament, is a typical example of the Ringstrasse era. Its spacious halls offer the lavish flair of this era and are still an impressive location for 'modern' events today.

The building was erected in 1872 as a clubhouse for the Austrian Trade Association and opened by Emperor Franz-Josef I himself. At the time, there was a spirit of optimism due to the approaching World Exhibition, which the association played a key role in organizing. The building was constructed in the style of Palladian Classicism by architect Otto Thienemann and has been largely preserved in its original state to this day.
